Many times Target has deals that offer you $5 target gift cards in return for buying certain products. Well it just so happens that if you use coupons you can often get the item for free (or close to free) and STILL get the $5 target card. We do this all year long and save all these gift cards (they never expire) until we find something we want that we don’t normally buy everyday.
Last Year, we used our gift cards to buy a Kindle Keyboard for the little reader in our family. We didn’t spend a dime of cash on it.
Just today, my husbands iPod broke (after 5 years) and I used my gift cards to buy him a new one. Again, not a dime out of pocket.
Getting the necessary gift cards isn’t all that hard. For example, we purchased 2 dove Shampoo’s, 1 dove Hair Styler, and 1 men’s degree deodorant. After coupons we spent $7.24 and received back a $5 gift card for getting 4 “Unilever” products.
